Aviary birds
Raised in a flock and happiest with other birds — perfect for stocking an aviary, breeding setups, or anyone who loves natural bird behaviour and song. Our aviary range spans parrots, finches, canaries, quail and poultry.

A whole flock to choose from
We carry a big range across the aviary, and exactly who’s in store shifts from week to week. Here’s the kind of thing you’ll usually find.
Parrots
The same species we hand-rear are often available as aviary birds too — budgies through to big parrots.
Aviary & hand-rearedFinches
Colourful, social little birds that are perfect for a planted aviary or a first flock.
Aviary birdsCanaries
Cheerful singers in a range of colours — a classic aviary favourite.
Aviary birdsQuail & poultry
Quirky ground-dwellers for the bottom of an aviary, plus some poultry from time to time.
SeasonalParrots, big and small
Many of our parrots are available as aviary birds as well as hand-reared — from budgies, cockatiels and conures right through to amazons, cockatoos and macaws. The full species run is on our hand-reared page, and our team can tell you what’s available as aviary stock right now.
Aviary or hand-reared?
Aviary parrots are raised in a flock and are ideal for aviaries and breeding. If you’re after a tame companion bird that loves to be handled, our hand-reared birds are the ones to look at.
Hand-reared birdsSmall aviary birds
Alongside the parrots, we keep a rotating range of finches, canaries and other small aviary birds. We’re finalising the full species list — pop into the store or give us a call and we’ll let you know exactly who’s in.
Full small-bird list coming soon
Our finch and canary line-up is being updated. Check back shortly for the full illustrated range, or ask in store for today’s availability — new birds come in regularly.
Setting up an aviary?
A well-planned aviary keeps your flock healthy and happy. A few things worth thinking about — and our team will happily talk through all of it in store:
- ✓ Enough flight space and shelter from wind, rain and afternoon sun
- ✓ Compatible species and numbers — some birds mix better than others
- ✓ The right seed, pellets and fresh food for the birds you keep
- ✓ Perches, nest sites and planting for natural behaviour
- ✓ Clean water, hygiene and an avian-savvy vet for the flock
We’ll help you plan it
Tell us your space and which birds you’re drawn to, and we’ll help you get the aviary, food and setup right — and let you know what’s coming in next. Pop in, call the store, or send an enquiry.
