We carry hundreds of birds across the range, and exactly who’s in store shifts from week to week. Here’s the kind of thing you’ll usually find.

Small to large — budgies, cockatiels, conures, ringnecks and bigger parrots, depending on the week.

We keep both, and which one suits you depends on what you’re after. Our team will happily talk you through it.
Hand-reared birds
Raised with lots of human contact, so they’re tame, confident and bond closely with people. Ideal if you want a companion parrot that loves to be handled and is part of the family.
Aviary birds
Raised in a flock and happiest with other birds. Perfect for stocking an aviary, breeding setups, or anyone who loves watching natural bird behaviour and song.
Before a bird joins your flock
Birds are brilliant, long-lived companions — and a real commitment. A quick checklist of things worth thinking about (and questions we’re always happy to answer in store):
- ✓ Space for the right-sized cage or aviary, away from draughts and kitchen fumes
- ✓ A good base diet — quality pellets and seed, plus fresh veg and clean water
- ✓ Daily company and enrichment, especially for hand-reared parrots
- ✓ An avian-savvy vet for check-ups and the odd hiccup
- ✓ A bit of homework on the species you’re drawn to — we’ll point you the right way
